Food What I Eat - Monday
7am - Approx 1/3 cup rolled oats, 1/3 cup of organic milk, 1/2 tsp of raw sugar, 1 tablespoon of blueberry and elderflower yoghurt. I wouldn't normally add yoghurt, but I had a little left (maybe enough for another day too!). I had intended to get up early and go for a run, so the oats were prepped the night before, but I slept in and had breakfast in bed.
8am - Regular latte with 1 raw sugar - part of my semi regular morning coffee meeting with my best friend, we drink about half and then walk with the rest to our respective jobs.
10am - 1 tangelo - I normally would have had this later, but I had a meeting at 10.30, and didn't want to eat during it.
10.30 - 1 rooibus tea (not pictured)
1.30pm Soy and linseed toasted sandwich with turkey, spinach, cheese and hummus - I just put the sandwich in the sandwich press at work, awesome. Oh and there is my tangelo from morning tea. 6 strawberries (not pictured- I had left them in the work fridge over the weekend - and i'm not that comfortable photographing food at my desk!)
I went for a forty minute run - OUTSIDE! during my lunch hour, it was great. I devoured my lunch, and also my strawberries, that normally I would have had around 3pm. It was a late lunch as well, I normally have it at 12 - depends if I have any exercise plans etc.
3.30pm - 1 rooibus tea w/ 1 tsp sugar and milk (not pictured)
7.30pm - Hot & Sour Soup, Pat Thai, and 2/3 glass diet coke (made during my Thai Cooking class), and one rice paper roll from yesterdays cook-up (not pictured). Really tasty! Next week we are making a Thai Beef Salad, and some rice dish that you serve in a whole pineapple!
9pm - 6 pieces of Green & Blacks dark choc - this isn't from my cupboard! A friend brought some to share.
